I am trying to make a map that spawns units depending on how many "castles" I build. These castles are just modified Fusion cores. I made a variable called Castle =1 <integer>to use a a counter. I then made a condition for a periodic spawn that Castle (the variable) == 1. And I did the same for the next periodic timer Castle (the variable) == 2.
My problem is that I am trying to make it so that my variable will go up or down in number if I build of lose castles in the game. My first attempt at doing this is to make a trigger with event "Unit enters/leaves region" I made the region "Entire Map" but it wont let me change "any unit" into a specific type of unit, such as my castle unit. Is there any way to change "any unit" into "Castle" (any not a specific castle, but rather any castle). Or am I going about this in a really backwards kinda way? Any advice would be appreciated.
