Dragon Heart - spell problem

Dragon Heart - The Dragons Heart is the key for the Dragons Immortality though the Dragon Offsprings (my hero) Heart is yet not completely grown and will only be able to grant immortality for some few seconds.

Trigger:
  • Dragon Heart
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Learns a skill
    • Conditions
      • (Learned Hero Skill) Equal to Attribute Bonus
    • Actions
      • Set DragonHeartCaster = (Triggering unit)
      • Trigger - Add to Dragon Heart Invulnerable <gen> the event (Unit - DragonHeartCaster Takes damage)
      • Trigger - Turn off (This trigger)

    • Conditions
      • (Life of DragonHeartCaster) Less than or equal to 150.00
    • Actions
      • Unit - Make DragonHeartCaster Invulnerable
      • Wait (3.00 + (1.00 x (Real((Level of Attribute Bonus for DragonHeartCaster))))) seconds
      • Unit - Make DragonHeartCaster Vulnerable


First of all the skill Attribute bonus is just for testing.

my problem is that I want to make a cooldown on this so it doesnt trigger all the time and while this effect is on i would like to greatly increase the Health Regeneration can someone tell me how?

That's not a cooldown in any way Laeiv? :p
You should do something like:


Trigger:

    • Events
    • Conditions

    • Actions
      • Trigger - Turn off (This Trigger)
      • Unit - Make DragonHeartCaster Invulnerable
      • Wait (3.00 + (1.00 x (Real((Level of Attribute Bonus for DragonHeartCaster))))) seconds
      • Unit - Make DragonHeartCaster Vulnerable
      • Wait YourCoolDownFormula
      • Trigger - Turn on (This Trigger)

But that'd make it non-mui, Laeiv's is non-mui too...

If you want a MUI version, I'd probably do something with the Custom Value, setting it to 1 when the spell is used, then having a trigger with periodic event, picking all units that has the DragonHeart spell and a custom value over 0. Increasing their CV by 1 and then checking if it's above the cooldown thing. If it is, then set it to 0.
Add a condition to the trigger you have now that checks if the CV is 0.
And you'd have to remove the Turn off, Turn on

I just think in cooldown about when you start the effect, like normal spell.... not between one effect done and some seconds....

like..... you start the spell.... ok..... now i'm god invulnerable.... wait 10 seconds (just example) and omg i'm a pathetic mortal :( (cd done)

Well... writing this make a bit strange lol i admit :rolleyes:

:O Well cooldown is the one that's between your casts like I cast the spell, WOW I'm invulnerable ... 10 secs.. mortal... waits till cooldown is over (20 secs etc)... WOW I'm invulnerable.

Also when you said you added the cool down, the only thing you did was adding the Turn On and Turn Off which has nothing to do with either "cooldowns" :p

Okay guys first of all i mean like a cooldown like "WOW I am Immortal :D for 3 seconds" after these 3 seconds a timer (not a window or anything) begins from like 60 seconds. this timer has to run out before i can use it again.

And How about Health Regen?

For Health Regen, add the Item Ability when you become invulnerable and remove it after ^^

To make the Cooldown MUI you would have to use timers ^^

Yeah I know Aqkastik, that's what I was saying :p
To make it MUI, you could create a timer for each unit, or you could do like I said with the custom value :D

Start the timer and use when the timer expires instead of the waits. Or you can wait for condition as well.
