Hero XP gain range

I have a problem on my map, i didnt even touch the Hero Maximum XP gain range constant, and it's like you gain xp in full map range! my creeps kill a unit at the other side of the map and i still get the xp. The Maximum xp gain range default value is 1200, i tried reducing it and it doesnt change anything!

help please!

Change the value. Tick the "Use custom Gameplay Constants" to change the value. By default you take xp from faaaar away and when the map's size is "Small" or "Tiny", the default xp range is enough to level you up.

1200 is about one screen...
Try playing around with "global distribution".
