Oh, I found one bug. It didn't let me pick. I wanted to pick a hero, and then suddenly, I got stuck with a Revenant. It was kinda lame, it had no real good abilities :/ If it were ranged and Intelligence, it would've maybe been stronger.

This "suddenly" would be after 1 minute. And there's a timer running...

Do you need a hero AI for computer players?
I have one on my computer that is just collecting dust. I made it for my own hero arena btw, the project is dead but the AI did work pretty well.

The AI is, as I said, made for an arena type of map. But it is also adapted to team play, my arena had 3 player teams or ffa.

Im also interested in testing this map, PM me if you have plan to host a game. (My crappy network setup wont let me to host wc3)

I'd still consider the creep idea. I think it would work quite well!

EDIT- Just played the game! I agree, it is pretty awesome, but I found another bug.

Since Myamoto's one ability (the one that's basically the fadykin's blink-dmg thing) is based of blink (is it?) He can get into enemy bases with it. You might want to fix that.

this is possible, but y go into an enemies base...just to die..?? if u do then u r dumb

ucan however get outa the arena and duel areas with it, this has yet to be a problem, becuase cmon now, what is the point, there is nothing to do out there, thus if it comes to that i will fix it, until then, its just fine I think

ty for testing, just had another Test ru nonline with Ace and Phyrex, went real well, once we get duel bug fixed things will be looking real good

In an Arena, there's always one person owning, then that motherfucker has got a fucking blink hero and teleports into the enemies base and slays everyone there

yea, maybe ill add a short ranged attack to the ress. stones so it will hurt enemies who come near to deter ppl from going in their to try and slay other heroes

anywho, that is an older map, there have been numerous updates since then, ty for the bug report, but it has been fixed, along with a few others that have been reported, as of right now there are none that I know of, and jsut about every hero has been tested, and every item, etc.

This is M. Warlord, I seem to be having problems getting onto my account, it just simply won't accept my pass/name. If a mod could look into the problem, it would be nice... Anyway, I tested the map with the beta you posted and here are my thoughts.

The Good:
Hero Selection
Custom Hero Models
Game Play mode voting
Terrain
Traveling salesman from ace's swampling map
Custom Items Recipe Shop
Turn into a ghost on death
Only duel if you WANT to
Duel WHEN you want to

Duel WHO you want to(Nice to not have to face the uber character over...and over...and over...)

Wandering Trolls
Runes in middle
Cannot attack teammates

The Bad (Keep in mind I picked the Furbolg Hero):
Basic, seemingly untriggered spells, one of them even kept it's original name/tooltips (Howl of Terror)...

That the Berserk spell seemed to have more of a bad effect than good (More damage taken than attack speed gained)
The fact that the traveling merchant was a troll, and shows no need to help the trolls you fight on the island...

Would be nice to see some scattered Troll Barracks about the map where Trolls spawn more often (To add realism)

All non-recipe items are default

The fact that you CAN attack teamates, just not with heroes (Summons and furbolgs from the merchant could attack my motionless cpu partner...)

Fact that Reguvenation from the Furbolg Hero's summon had no cooldown
Creeps respawn too quickly

That shops are not in bases, which means the uber hero can just guard the best shops so that he can stay far, far in the lead.

most of those things have been fixed, again that is an old version

you should really try some of the other heroes, the furbolg is by far the most simple and non custom

I agree with what everyone is saying. Once a hero is usually in the lead in the game, the hero will stay in the lead. Here is what I suggest:

Every five minutes or so, a trigger tallies the total amount of deaths and kills. Mabye use something like (team hero kills) - (team deaths) = total score. Then, you would have an item for each team depending on score.

Highest score= no item
2nd highest= item w +5 to all stats
3rd highest= item with +10 to all stats
last place= item with +15 to all stats

These items could be changed to what you want, or whatever. The point is that the worst team will be harder to kill for the super powerful team.

Also an idea: Create a timer that would spawn super powerful baddies that drop special items in the center. Make it so no one hero could possible kill it, so it has to be a team effort. You could even make it count as a hero kill, mabye.

Something else: I suggest increacing the HP of the trolls significantly, or reducing the bounty.

I also suggest trying to keep the creep level equal to the hero level, so you won't have hero's one hitting level 2 creeps os some such. If you ever played DBZ Tribute, the creeps get more powerful as the game progresses. I don't know if you already added this stuff to your current map, but these are just suggestions.

many of these things are now implemented, creeps do lvl as you do, if you have tried online(which none of u have), the creeps actually work out pretty good

i liek to keep the mid open though for hero fighting, I should be releasing a pretty much playable final beta release within the next few days

it is almost time for an official release ;)

anywho, if ppl would like to play with me tonight, ill be on, catch me on MSN, AIM, or WC3, hope to see some more ppl who wanted to test, actually test, only ppl to try so far have been

Ace(ofcourse), Phyrexian, Karawasa, and I think that is it

ive been getting rave reviews guys, u dont know what ur missing ;)
