Ok thanks for the replies so far.

I was googling stuff like "Top 10 horror films", "Best Horror films" but in all the lists I found I had to strongly disagree with their choices. Some put stuff from like 1950 in and.... just no.

... you are a failure. Dead to me, really.

There's a movie called Them. I think it's French, it was pretty good. I can't think of any movies that I remember as being really scary though... except one, The Blair Witch Project, but keep in mind that I was like 12 and thought it was real.

Well Elder, you see, it was that one frame where she was like "gah!" and it froze there. It's not scary if it plays on, but it was stuck there loading for like a minute.
The first Mummy scared me when I was a lil youngling. Just the first one. Not the others. And i are forever scared. o.o

Those foreign scary movies are always so weird, very strange. The scariness is more like weirdness. But uncertainty is always scary, so they are scary.
Saw goes downhill as the numbers go up.

I think Asian horrors are cater to fright Asians in general? The American horrors are scary for Americans. I still don't see why REC or Quarantine are scary. Didn't watch them though (because I have motion sickness), but they seem... not scary to me. Zombie movies are... not scary, but entertaining.

Scary to me is more to stuff like a lady with long hair covering her face, sitting right next to you beside you bed on a chair, motionless. Next thing you know, she appear right in front of your face. Now, that's friggin spooky to me.

Zombies and monsters... Nah.

Saw 1, 3 and 6 were great!

I mean like psychological, mess with your mind / things pop up on the screen suddenly and stuff.

Seriously, the Thais are really good in this. Lol.

Americans like blood and gore more then they like jump out of your pants scary. Thats why gears of war is super gory and people still like it

GoW has a pretty cool story and campaign.
Epic Games just needs to deliver it better so that even more people like it.
Nothing wrong with blood and gore in a video game, but I know what you mean about movies, lol.

The only TRULY scary bit in that movie (Quarantine) was when they were in the attic. I'm not saying anymore.
