Ideas for summon dead spell

Hey guys

In one of the scenes in my movie a magician is attempting to summon the dead with a powerful magical spell, and i was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for what effects i could use, sounds and anything else. :thup:

So far, I've got the magician (Medivh) playing his stand first animation with banshee missiles attached to his left and right hands, three ghosts flying around him and at the base, another effect that encases him.

I really want to make it more interesting, so please help!

Darken the screen? (using fade filter or something)

thanks I'll do that.
I've already changed it so that part is night time and the sky is set to felwood sky, and Medivh casts an ability similar to locust, only it makes ghosts.
