Well, its time to show some people the meaning of brainstorming. Try to focus and picture out a color that does not exist. I'm sure you can't answer this one, humans mind is somewhat limited to the colors that it stores. This came into my mind a long time ago and is so annoying sometimes. My classmates who tried to solve it got a headache, while for some who did not go deep into it, well nothing really serious to them.

Woha, you got a very good idea, "What Color Does The Blind Know"
Well, we wont know what colors go into the minds of the inborn blind people
I bet they have the most gratest imagination.

i'm more confused as to the question?

a color that doesn't exist?

there really isn't one, anything you imagine in a color, ever looked through a paint pallet? theres like a thousand different colors, most barely differential

I tried and could only see... well... everytime I try I only envision white - but that doens't count because that's a color. I've tried doing something like this before :p

White isn't a colour ;D.

---

Even if you did think of a colour that didn't exist (which is impossible), it would exist as soon as you've discovered it.

White actually is the sum of all colors. :)

Black isn't a color. It's the absence of color.

----------------

Let's turn the question around: How would you describe colors to a person who has been blind ever since he/she was born?

The issue is the same actually. It's close to impossible, you can't force him to imagine something he never registered in his whole life, and it is the same with you for colors we don't see.

X-rays and stuff. If we could see them, it's obvious they would "appear" as something. But what? :p

That is the question.

No..White is light and black is the absence of light.

But they're both colors to me anyway.

Yeah, but you could do this with anything. ( Try thinking of a new sound to add to the alphabet.. its not possible )

I have figured it out! Ultraviolet light. It is not in the visible spectrum, so we dont know what color it is. Because it is not a color, to humans, other species may see it but we dont.

Actually white is the reflection of all colors, the sum of all of them combined. It's not just light though it can be seen as a light, be a light source or a reflection. This is what allows you to see it, and why it's more easily seen in the dark. You can also have strictly a red light; pure red light - what's to keep it from being white by that definition? White is not strictly light though it can be a light. Darkness however is the absence of light, and black is a color that can bee seen in the light; it is the absorption of all colors; reflecting none back into the eyes of the observer. It is percieved as an absence of color but it is not darkness. Darkness again is the absence of light.

There are colors that exist that we cannot see, as well there are color feilds such as auras, etc, that exist of colors recognizable but are not percieved by everyone. I'm not certain but it may have to do with the high frequency. I have seen these before. Also you can see them on Warcraft for whatever reason. Or maybe that's just me and my super-human sight.

Adding to what I said, there is nothing challenging or difficult about this, since there is no challenge, since what you're trying to do can't be done no matter how hard you try...

Then the alphabet wouldn't be possible. It couldn't have been created, could it?

The discovery of colours that you never saw is some sort of impossible as you couldn't describe it in the words you allready know and inventing new words for it would "desync" with the rest of the World ( literaly )
