Increase of Hero Range

How do i increase a heros range?

i try to increase it and when i test it out it stays at the heros default range! argh help me!

How are you increasing it at the moment? The only way you can do it is by using the Long Rifles upgrade.

what have you changed? the thing you need is Combat - Attack 1 - Range
make sure its attack 1 because attack 2 is disabled by default

i'm increasing it by object editor, yeah im on Combat - Attack 1 - Range

Oh sry, I thought you meant in game. Make sure the attack your increasing is the one enabled. Exactly what field are you increasing? It might be the wrong one.

ok i got a test then

some one make an archer (ranged unit) and set its range to 1000

then set a POTM (ranged Hero) and set its range to 1000

you should make sure that your hero's attack type is missile not instant or other things there.

Actually, I have a similar problem which I havn't worried about too much yet. (or worried enough to ask here yet)

In my game, I set all the towers for each race to 1000 or 1100 range, but in game the towers all stay at their default (700 I think?).
