I made a JNGP installer, be sure to specify your wc3 folder path.
New Gen WE is in the JNGP folder, which will be in your wc3 folder.
I had to use a free create-an-installer though.

Try a better AV, Avast lets me chose "No Action" which is basically "don't load file and continue"

I found that using it with the world editor EXE file posted here doesn't allow you to run the map in WC3 directly from world editor.. but I found a method that works completely..




Take your warcraft 3 install folder.. rename it to "Warcraft 3 - New"

install warcraft 3 ROC and FT again..

update to patch 121b

run NewGen world editor

tada!

That's a lot more work than just downgrading WE though and not everyone has their disks anymore.

Rage, your installer installed nothing. It says it was successfully installed but I don´t see a new folder anywhere. Surely I must be doing sthing wrong.

How do you "install" JNGP? It's an .exe. It doesn't seem to work either.

I don't think you need to - all I did was extract NewGen to my desktop, run we.bat, find the WE.exe file, then I could use the NewGen.exe from there

I was asking him what the point of his installer is, it wasn't actually a question.

The installer overwrites the 1.22 WE with the 1.21 one.
It also installs a folder called JNGP into your wc3 folder.
The JNGP folder is Jass New Gen Pack.

You should make it create a back up of 1.22 WE.
