Map Initialization = No Event?

i just found out that the event Map Initialization is basically a no event in Jass so i was had a few questions about it:
does every trigger without an event runs on initialization?
how do i make the triggers i want to run on initialization to actually run or the opposite way?

please explain at length about this whole thing which seems confusing somewhat....

After converting a GUI triggers to custom text, look up above the trigger comment. There are two check boxes there.

• Enabled
• Run on Map Initialization

All the GUI event 'Map Initialization' does is check the box.

No, you have to tick the Run on initialization.

To not run on intialization, untick it.

Or simply use NewGen and initializers.

The InitTrig_NAME function is always run on map initialization, so there's no point of even having a trigger (handle) if you're using Jass. Just put everything into that function.
Also, note that the trigger will only be 'ran' if it's the default trigger global trigger (gg_trg_NAME).
