Hey, I am back and I am taking your guy's advice.
A Hero Arena.
I have been working on it on and off, it's based on medieval times (Roman Japanese Greek and about 2 more),
but there is a problem:

I don't think there are models with spears (besides head hunters - they throw them even if they don't have a projectile to throw) and there is no Japanese Samurai model either.


Should I just plop models like demon hunter for Japanese? and headhunter for Roman? or should I take it easy?

I would just to get things moving you can always change the models after the game is playable

Like SaintMorose sais, it's better to get a working version of your map out first. If then the game is good, you could always try and attract some people to help you create the resources needed. Also, there's a pretty good chance that there's samurai's around already. Check sites like http://www.wc3campaigns.net and http://www.hiveworkshop.com/ for them.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there are sumurai models on the hive workshop, but don't think there are any romans. There is a map on b.net based around the 300 movie that has romans, so maybe if u google around the net you might find the models lurking somewhere. In the meantime however, you could easily use the blademaster as for the japanese and the bandit model for the roman. BTW There is an assassin brigande model which has a spear, but it also throws it.... still it would look better then a troll.

I've seen Japanese units models in a Game, something like LoaP. There are Samurais (Those ronins), samurai with armor, Cavalry units, even archer units too. And sufficient to say, they are really nicely made. I might search about in my Maps folder to see if the map is still there or not if you want. Also if I remembered correctly there are Hero model type units in game too. Plus, lots of Japanese custom buildings.

For Roman units, doubt I've seen some with good details like how the Japanese units are.
