only 1 mistake is that u don't need Capital letters simply use these just without the capital

Yup, I just keep c'n'pasting this from other sites that I wrote myself because this question was asked frequently. :D

Also, I don't think you need the words in parentheses, but I'm not sure, I forgot. :p

Question 27: Solved

If i learn Jass, people say me: If you use TriggeringUnit more then once, do it into a var, so the trigger runs better.
Does this count also for GUI?

It does not make the trigger run better, it only prevents unwanted changes to Triggering Unit, and make your code more readable, as Triggering Unit got bad self-documentation issues (eg. A unit is attacked... no thinking, which unit is Triggering Unit -- the attacker or the attackee?)

Question 28: Solved

I was just working on a spell in the object editor. I wanted to test the spell.
When i learned the spell with my hero the spell was nowhere :eek:
The spell is based on channel.
Im not that good with object editor :eek:

channel doesnt appear if u not set it to Visible

go in object editor and select the spell, and go to:

Data - Options: and mark the box (Visible)
this should work.. :)

Also, I think that the boolean field:
Code:
Disable Other Abilities - True
Should be set to false so that it doesn't literally disable the other abilities. :D

that is not the cause of his problem even though in most cases it is recommended to set this thing to false yet it's not the answer he needs and Maaxe got it right....

oO pretty thanks, but in the tutorials there's nothing about visibility and in object editor i didnt find such a "visible-box"

oO in the objects editor i just see boxes for grafic, test, values and levels.
no options :(
Or did i maybe took wrong spell in object editor (using german version of WE).
Channel is the spell with the deathpackt icon (the red fist)?

i can press D as often i want. I can search the list as often i want. but there is no data -.-
