Pop up massages

I am trying to make somthing similar to DotA's recipe system, that says 'You dont need to buy a recipe for this item' once youve aquired an item thats not needed. I don't want it to display as in-game text message, but as golden text like 'Spell is not ready yet'. But i cant do it. I dont want to put lumber, food or insane gold price for the recipe thats not needed, so i probably need to trigger it.
So can someone tell me how to do it? +rep for the most useful post.

But i want the text centered as the in-game information messages, not like a normal text displayed with 'Game - Text message'. Is there a way to force Wc3 say for instance 'Upgrage complete' like it says it when upgrade is complete, but without playing the sound?

An easy way would be using dummy units and renaming one of the error messages.

IE:
Make a unit with Sacrifice (Acolyte)
Make a footman.
Order the first unit to use Sacrifice on the footman.
Remove both units.

All you need to do is change the message on Text - Message - 'Must target an Acolyte.' You can find various other error messages, if you want. >.<; There are tons.

I think you probably need to do it in JASS, where you can set the X and Y coordinates. To make the text appear near the lower centre of the game screen, use this:

call DisplayTimedTextToPlayer( Player(0), 0.52, 0.96, 2.00, "You dont need to buy a recipe for this item")

The above line will display the text for Player 1 (Red) near the lower centre of screen where yellow game messages appear.

Ok thanks to both of you, ill most likely use the Jass script, but the way with the targeting should work too, +rep as promised.
