~Walk down Memory Lane~

OK so heres my idea;

You walk up to a large open space guarded by a large door with the title Memory Lane looming over it. Theres are large dirt road going stright down the middle. There are 7 items beside the entrance of the road named as labled:
Barrel = left
signpost = right
tree = down
Rock = up
Junk = Return to last and go left
treasure = Continue
Broken Bridge = up (Foreshadow!)

After taking a break look, they continue on. Pulling a lever that opens the door to memory lane and also destroying the 6 clues.
Now the game would go normaly, prolly about 3 losses it would take to fully remember all of the items.
Eventualy the riddlers will reach the bridge with the end at the other side. Crossing it will kill you becouse the proper thing to do is go upwards and around.
If using this one, remember to put alot of decoy objects that will keep them from just following the trail.

Wow, I'm having a lot of trouble understanding these suggestions...ugh. Well, I see your concept but I'm just not understanding it. Please explain it to me very thoroughly and exactly how you want me to put it. Thanks.

There is a question mark hero who casts a random spell on a unit, with 1 slight modification. You have to select the unit that in the original warcraft casts that spell. For example, make it so polymorph changes the target into a pig. Then, they have to identify the sorceress.
The question mark will then turn into that unit, and you slay it.

Okay, I think I got this one, tell me if I'm right.

There's a special caster that can cast any spell. He has his dummy target and you have to know what unit posesses that spell. So the caster casts Polymorph on the unit. The answer to the puzzle would be -sorceress.

Is that what you are trying to say?

Yeah, the whole question mark thing was my idea for the model file. Just a question mark... But do w/e works for ya.

I find that puzzle really easy because anyone that plays Warcraft III will know. Do you have any ideas to make that puzzle a bit harder?

Polymorph was an easy example. You could do something like bladestorm with just the sound, or... Your hero has increased stuff but no buff or a non-descript buff and you have to figure out what aura does that, or what mix of auras maybe...

I actually have an idea very similar to your suggestion. I think I'm going to use it. Don't bother to remove your suggestion, it's going to be somewhat related but not to the point where the answer is in your suggestion. Thanks a lot. +Rep but I can't because I've already given you too much.

Aight another idea :)

You are in a room, there are four Footmen named different names. Now the question is: Which is smaller? Little do you know there is a unit you CANNOT see and must you ALT to find it. Make it like a doodad so if you do the whole room wiht a box it will go to the units. When you find the small object it will say "Smaller" and then they put the name of the doodad.

Hope that works :D

i have a cool idea, i hope you will like it. Its like, every player go to a region (circle of power) and is teleported to a random point in your map. Now, because they are in that region, they will have to type the sentences you want them to type in the less time possible. If it took too much time, they cant pass this level and if they got it in time, they can proceed to the next level. I hope you like this idea!!!

EDIT: forgot to name it...

the puzzle (game) name is : The Typing Of The King!

Heh... Anyhow

I call it... THE PITLORD'S TRIALS

There are an amount of gates, maybe 3*number of players playing, whatever works. Anyhow... Ok, this is hard to explain. Diagram time!

Yeah, that's kinda confusing too. Lol. Anyhow, == are gates, and - are for spacing (well the ones beside the gates will be walls obviously). The underscore is a "DEATH ZONE!". One gate takes you to the "DEATH ZONE"! and the other leads you to another gate, and so on and so on until you reach the end. However it's not just a guessing game (that'd be dumb). It will give you hints as to which gate is safe throughout the whole thing. Something like "The first left gate will be the first of 2. The last gate will be a right." so that hint fully tells you to go: Right, left, left, right.
To make it more "warcrafty", you could make it that you are in the Pitlord's Castley Home (less cute sounding lol) and you have to get to him safely without encountering his minions!

ok, well its not that hard to explain

There are 7 objects, each object having a direction. So you would start off by going forward down the path unti'l you hit a tree, then you would go left, then you hit a signpost so you should go up, then you hit treasure so you should continue going up. Etc etc etc....
Its kinda like those excape Hell games, only the path is invisable in this situation.

Thats the basic concept, and If you go off the path you die in rightious fire.
If theirs any detail that you still dont understand just ask.

That's not a puzzle. That's a test to see how fast someone can type. Requires no thinking.

Finally, something that I didn't have to modify. Anyways, it's a great idea and I loved it. I'm going to make it hard to figure out which path is which. I think I'm going to add a 3rd gate. Thanks a whole lot.

I'm still thinking about this one. I think I will need to check out "Escape Hell" b4 I can implement this into my map, I'm still not getting it.

Wow, 10 awesome levels already, this map is just on a roll I think. Btw, please continue to keep giving me suggestions.

Make one where there is an invisible maze. The catch is that every player can only see a certain amount of the maze's walls. If you touch a wall, you go back to the begining (dieing was going to make it way too hard) and so you couldn't trust where you were walking. (In other words, since only 1 person can see certain walls, and they can't see any of the others, it's up to the players to figure a way to work together and make it past the invisible maze)

Any questions on it just pm me War :D

this one is a maybe, since I dunno if it is really a "puzzle"

You start out with a map with a lot of doodads, and stuff, then you flash an image (camera object) for all of the players. Then you fade back to their character. They have to to go to the area that the snapshot was taken of. and use an ability

(you could work in that they have an ability that shows them the snapshot again). I think that would be fun, if it could be done right. And it could be done multiple times if you wanted.

How's this:

Numerical Circles

There is an acolyte in the middle of the room. He is surrounded by a 5x5 grid of "Circle of Powers."

Code:
(51) (52) (53) (54) (55)
(41) (42) (43) (44) (45)
(31) (32)  A33 (34) (35)
(21) (22) (23) (24) (25)
(11) (12) (13) (14) (15)

He then provides (# of players) riddles, which hint at two different numbers.

These numbers correspond to each other if the grid was on a coordinate plane.

For example, say Red, Blue, Teal, and Green are playing.

He says,
"Day and night combined." (24) To Red.
"The unlucky call..." (13) To Blue.
"Make seven, begin at 3." (34) To Teal.
"Inversed unluck. You decide." (31) To Green.

They would then have to go to these circles within the given time limit (perhaps like 30 seconds), or else he randomized the circles again.

If you accept this, then I'll PM you the rest of the number riddles.

>"Julius Cesear now dreads this number." (23) To Red.
... Ok no one is gonna get that (I don't get it!)

>"The highest number..." (55) To Teal.
Yet again, wtf. Highest number on..? My answer would be 255, or 15. Or even 9. But 55???

1. Ever watch the movie, "23?" Julius Caesar was supposed to have been stabbed 23 times.

2. Highest number on the grid.
