Strange Brown Tiles in WE

See these 3 screenshots.... can anyone explain what's going on? It only appears in a single map (Creeps Unite, that is) and is freaking me out.

I have the backup though, so the map is safe. But I'm still curious about this Don't worry boys and gals, Creeps Unite lives forever!

A tip, check the top menu "VIEW" ...and rofl-around-with-it.

maybe just a 'lag' and a -haven't finished- or -failed to load pixels-... it's cliff afterall... Maybe some modify tileset will do?

No. If I did pressed P, it should've been pink, not brown

That's not even a tileset. And I've tried close-and-open the map several times, but the result is the same.

did you change the tileset by anychance after putting up the clifts?

cuz form the looks of it you what used to be grass clifts from somewhere like loraderon summer, that bacame the grass clifts <yellowish brown> from loarderon fall

Judging from the rock texture, this looks more like Barrens to me. But I'm too lazy to open WE right now.

I haven't tried in-game, because I deleted that map and used the back-up now. That is not Barrens tile, compare it to the screenshot. So I can't upload the map. It's okay actually, since I have the back-up.

So, let's just say COMPARE THE BARRENS TILE TO THE SCREENSHOT
(sorry if this is too harsh, but IceFrog's riddle in 6.49 is REALLY REALLY driving me nuts :nuts: :banghead: And I've solved it just now)

Well, probably what happened is that you were using other tiles first, or maybe the grass ones, then you used a custom tileset, and replaced the cliff tile with those, but grass non-cliff tiles.

to me, (sorry i haven't opened the map-im at work) it seems like what manytimes said... that somewhere in the map you've mistakenly put a dirt cliff tile too close to a grass cliff tile.

and that can cause some very weird corruptions to your cliffs, just like your screenshots indicate.

that's my guess, and afaik, there is no cure for such a glitch, other than flattening it all out and starting over!

I don't use Custom Tileset except Ashenvale/Felwood's dark grass, something (I forgot)

Well, if there's really no cure for this, that's okay. I have the back-up

if all else fails, you could import the grass cliff tile and make its path the barrens one that you have now (if it is barrens)

Although you don't need to, you have the backup
