I just noticed that I can't adjust style options for custom imported functions (from the includes directory)

And the default one is frankly horrible.

Also the custom imported functions do not show in the function search, only in autocompletion.

Also noticed custom .j file in includes does not support constants. :(

Will be added.

That's odd. Try clearing your Temp directory, most notably delete funclist.db in there (not in the TESH folder).

> Also noticed custom .j file in includes does not support constants.
Indeed, I didn't find much of a need for that. But I guess I can add them in the next version.

Still nothing...
Does it work for you or you just assumed it would work?

Yeah, it works fine for me (tested with some older, non-vJass caster system).
Sadly, it seems not many people even know about this feature so I guess it wasn't tested throughly. The next version will have a different parsing method which will hopefully work for you. Until then...I guess you can use tool to edit the database (funclist.db, this time the one in the tesh directory) and add your functions manually. It's an SQLite database so a tool such as this one will do the trick.

Oh I don't really need the search in function list,
I simply added functions from my systems so they are colored differently in text.
(and I know their names don't I :D)
Decided to report it only to let you know that there is a problem along with that other feedback.

I gots a problem with TESH. I've noticed that with TESH, my trigger editor has been crashing upon opening it up. Without TESH there is no problem.

Is their anyway to fix this?

Sorry for bringing up a couple month old topic, but seeing as how TESH hasn't been updated since then, isnt it time for an update?

hey sfilip, i have a problem with tesh...

i cant use the WE with tesh, even when there is no map loaded (just the WE).
it crashes with every map.

when i click the tesh menu and access 'options' and 'functions list',
WE crashes...

i can load a map correctly but when i open the trigger editor it crashes.
thankfully it never corrupted my map.

i've tried dLing other versions of TESH but still wit wont work.

i really like tesh, with function folding and autocorect...
any help?

The trigger editor gets random crashes or I get a message about an invalid pointer or similar in tesh.dll?
The syntax highlighter has problems with Window Blinds and maybe other window mods. Set an exception for the WE in Window Blinds or disable the tool while you're using NewGen. To add an exception open WindowBlinds -> settings tab -> change the look of an app -> add per application setting. There tell it to completly ignore NewGen. I believe that it's sufficient to add JassNewGenPack\bin\exehack.exe there but you might also have to add Warcraft III\worldedit.exe and/or Warcraft III\worldedit121.exe to fix the error.

ooh... i searched and found my answer...

How about adding wildcard searches:

Get*Unit
GetLearningUnit
GetLeavingUnit
GetLevelingUnit
GetLoadedUnit
GetManipulatingUnit
GetOrderedUnit
...

Unit*Item
UnitAddItem
UnitAddItemById
UnitAddItemByIdSwapped
UnitAddItemSwapped
UnitAddItemToSlotById
UnitDropItem
UnitDropItemPoint
...

It's already there, but forgot to document it. Try "Get%Unit" (without the quotes).

Where is documentation for TESH? I can't find anything... I want to import functions but I don't know how.

All there is to it is in the first post (namely, the changelog). You import functions by putting a .j file that contains them in the includes directory.

Ok... That's exactly what I thought. And I did that. Are these functions supposed to show up in the Function List?

Yes, they should be highlighted, autocompleted and should appear in the function list (like the ones from blizzard.j).
