No, you recreate the transition.

and yeah... i havent told you guys yet...

my post on dA on my piece of the worm got deleted.
due to copyright infringement of the stock i used.

long story short:

i got the stock from TH's Cool Pic thread,
i made my piece using it,
some guy on dA said "hey that's this guy's artwork [link to guy's profile]"
my deviation got deleted by the staff 'cause i didnt have permission from the guy.

that's a shame 'cause that deviation had like 79 +favs and lots of comments.

Generally, if you use a render in your work and post it on dA, people will think you made the whole thing from scratch. That is why they have that ToS rule, where you must give credits. That's why I never do work with real characters and post them on dA xD

From the normal untrained eye of me all the transitions are good I see no lines inbetween any of them.

and i need to ask about the top cause obviously i dont get a third go, do you want me to keep it or take it off? the piece wont be 'at worlds end' without that.

Honest to be I didn't interpret "at world's end" in any way, so for me it didn't had any link with the top . You could make it to fade to some color, either to a solid color or let very few details to be continued. Either way, it's too complex now.

Yes, I increased the contrast and some other values and you can see that Newbwc3's top is simply black in that part, whilst Pineapple's bottom is a very dark magenta. I can see the difference in IE, Firefox and in PS. So it's not a browser problem.

well, yea. BUT!

The best way to make a good transition is to copy the piece you are building off into the new doc. (make it 1000 high and 500 wide). put it and the top/bottom and work on making a fluid transition from it.

Maybe there should be a rule saying that you can only submit a certain filetype (.png or .jpeg) because I think the way the browsers read .pngs might be causing the problem with the color shades.

Smith_S9's is a jpeg (just checked) only undeadorcjerk's and pineapple's are pngs.
