Trouble with external avatar

I was trying to use an external avatar but twice it didn't work, so I just uploaded one. I'd still like to tip off the staff.

I used two hosts, and therefore two links. Here they are:

Sounds about normal.
Upload it from your comp, that never fails.

Chances it works from weird hosting sites are rather slim... they tend to send all kinds of garbage before the actual image comes.
