Variable: "Combat Sound"

I'm working on an RPG and its equipment system. When I change my weapons I don't want to keep the sound of say a wooden mace for a small dagger. I know there is a variable in the editor that is called combat sound, and it can be set to different kinds of sounds. How do I declare that the sound the hero is going to make is that variable?

You can change this now in User CP.

Use a sound variable and just set it every time the hero picks up an item.

Trigger:
  • Melee Initialization
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Acquires an Item
    • Conditions
    • Item - Item type of Item being manipulated = Your Item
      • Actions
        • Set Unit_Attack[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))] = Your Sound <gen>


You can make sounds with the sound editor.
