What things can possibly causing GAME CRASH

Woah, there are too many things can causing Game Crash, That i know there is 2 kind of Game Crash, 1st with Error Message and 2nd with no Error Message (The Game Turned off instantly), my question is what things can cause the first crash? because the second that i know is because the infinite loop in the trigger itself.

The first can be done with Illidan casting Metamorphosis, and then casting Mirror Image. Oh, and Mirror Image on an instant-cast item will crash. This function will probably just close the game when called.

I don't remember if that compiles correctly, but I think I remember it doing so.

I had been using this function to cause the game crash when I playing my map and being defeated vr soon.

JASS:

No, you want your crash function to be as efficient as possible, of course!

Yea, Player( invalid number here ) will crash.
Also, units outside of map bounds can cause crashes.
ExecuteFunction used on some non existing function probably crashes too.

I have not tested it, nor know how to go about it but;

Trigger:
  • Events
    • Player - Player red types -goldfuck as substring
    • Conditions
    • (Something here)
    • Actions
    • Player - Add X amount of gold


However, i doubt that would work, but you can try lol

I can't fully remember the whole trigger, it was more advanced than that, but because "-goldfuck" is not known as a no. it crashes, unless i'm confusing myself with another trigger that i can't remember crashes

Making "metophosis" an item and setting it to no mana and giving it to certain units causes crash. Others, turn into a hero-like. Try it on Peon, Acolyte, Peasant and Wisp. Giving them more hp and mana, but still remains unit-type. Pretty cool actually. Base the item off "invul pot" and cooldown group "metophosis" and finally, change the invul to metophosis

There has been a "fun map" around Northrend (europe server) which will instantly hang up the game resulting into a black screen.

It had one basic trigger... to add 10000 castles each 1 second of game time for each player.

It will not actually crash the game to windows, but it will force the user to alt tab and shut down Warcraft 3 completely!

Typecasting something to an invalid type would also crash.

I also believe some event responses crash when they shouldn't be used.
For example, GetExpiredTimer() is one I remember off the top of my head.

There's always dividing with 0... if I remember it correctly, the game isn't very fond of that :p

Try it with a loop for example ^^

1) Also this type of trigger can cause crash:

Trigger:
  • Trigger1
    • Events
      • A unit starts the effect of an ability
    • Conditions
      • Ability being cast Equal to X
    • Actions
      • Set Unit1 = (Casting unit)
      • Set Unit2 = (Target unit of ability being cast)
      • Trigger - Add to Trigger2 <gen> the event (Unit2 takes damage)


Trigger:
  • Trigger2
    • Events
    • Conditions
      • (Damage source) Equal to Unit1
    • Actions
      • Unit - Cause Unit1 to damage Unit1 dealing X damage of type X and damage type X


2) Also, make a unit have an inventory, a NON-Hero unit. Then, have an item Tome of Experience and order it to pick it up. Game crashes and i can find no solution to this :)
You can't even disable the order if it comes to that specific item.

I had found Warcraft will crash when using 2D parabola function. ^^

JASS:
function GetParabolaY takes real X, real int1, real int2,real int3 returns real
return (int1*X*X)+(int2*X)+3


JASS:
Parabola in Maths : ax2+bx+c


It will instant crash when it start calculating this Big Number.

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
