Thought I'd make a thread to discuss what you guys typically do on the weekends to spend your time. Always fun to discuss this kinda stuff, so hit it up!

I suppose I'll start off.

What kind of things do you normally spend your weekends doing?

Jam sessions at a friends. They play regular instruments, so far I've brought something different everytime. Next week I'm playing juiceharp through an audio microphone wired through a PC mixing so I can add FX and modulate it.

Usually have a movie/booze night at a friends. This weekend I saw Orphan, The Hurt Locker, Zombieland, Harold and Kumar (White Castle), The Hangover and some NFB animation by Mclaren. I didn't see it all in one running. Throughout the weekend.

Typically do some song writing in an electornic medium. Every day though has musical tinkering, the weekends tends to be better for it though since less people are in the house.

Lot of eating out with friends. Had a nice sit down meal at an indian place tonight. Butter chicken is magic.

So booze, movies, food, music. Now I sound like a typical youngin.

I get forced to parties alot, eitherwise I'm off somewhere with a person, or just doing stuff to pass the time. Though, I rarely have a weekend due to my job.

Water Polo, listening to metal, computer, and life guard stuff . I do something with friends every other week.

yes 3, in my college we have only 4 class days a week.
i live 8 hours away from my hometown.
and my roommates leave for the weekend too.

When I'm at home, me and friends will often go to the cinema or a bunch will come around to mine for films and such, or sometimes it's just a quiet weekend bumming around the house.
When I'm at Uni, as I am now, I become almost terminally lazy; I'll go get food for the week on Saturday morning, then spend the rest of the weekend sleeping

I guess it comes down to the computer, friends, and getting drunk.

I sort of have a strange school/work schedule, so I'll just go over my week.

Any time I have "free time" I spend it playing games, working on Forest CTF, doing homework, or programming something.

Usually spend Sunday with my girlfriend, unless she's got way too much homework, in which case I work on mine, or have free time the whole day.

Monday is spent from 6am (waking up) to 5:30pm (arriving at home) at school, and the rest of the day on as free time.

Tuesday is free time, mostly spent on homework.

Wednesday is the same as Monday.

Thursday is the same as Tuesday.

Friday is spent from 6am (waking up) to 2:50 (last class ends) at school. I also get to eat lunch with my girlfriend! 3:00 to 6:00 is spent at college, working on music, and Forest CTF. From 6:00 to around 8, I spend it with a bunch of friends working on a large game project in a meeting, getting ideas, and sharing what's going on with the game. I'm the guy who makes music, and might do some programming/concepts for the game. Then I spend the rest of the day (until about 1am) at my friends' apartment, eating bacon, chili fries, and working on linux/programming/awesome stuff.

Saturday I spend the morning (10am to 1:30pm) on TH, or playing games, and the rest of my day (2-10) working.

Basically, Sundays are fun and I get to spend it with my girlfriend, Tuesday/Thursday are catch-up days, and Friday is the awesome hang-out day.

My weekends generally consist of hanging out with friends, killing the streets with some sportbike stunting, going to random out of town places just for the hell of it, and random BBQ's/Get togethers. BBQ's, mmm.

and lets not forget the alcohol, thats generally part of most weekends.

rarely nothing. the only exciting thing that happens to me on the weekends is the RP on sundays.

Theres no good TV shows on during the weekends..

Jesus some of you guys sound so productive on weekends.
Mine consist of gaming (Either COD MW2, Rock Band 2, or whatever game I rent)
a party, hanging with girlfriend, sometimes go to mothers for dinner, soon will be rugby for a few weekends

Saturday: Floorball with friends and gaming/time spent with friends.
Sunday: Long sleep and gaming/friends.

Unless something more exciting comes around that involves girls and possibly alcohol.
