Use math - arithmetical. First blue field select the lives and the second one 1. Then change the sign to "-".

Awesome tut, dude! I used to have like, 50 triggers, now i have about 15 not including spell triggers

This is an awesome Tutorial, but I'm having a bit of a problem.

I am glad you have solved it. To prevent the same mistake, I edited the tutorial saying the creeps must cost atleast 1 food in order the spawning trigger could work.

Very good job.
Please note, that there are at least (edited in at least because of following post :) ) 2 ways to do corpse cleanup.

There is the trigger version (Which is the one you've shown)
And the Gameplay Constants version.
Pro - Unit's flesh and skeleton fade out quickly instead of disappearing instantly.
Con - No randomness, like the wait trigger in the Tutorials Example.
Which is...


Go to Advanced - Gameplay Constants

Make sure the following is checkmarked.

Scroll down and set the following value to how long you want it to take for the unit to disappear.(I would sugjest between 3 and 25)

The following value is added to the time it takes for the unit to disappear. (Sugjested value = 1.00-1.50)

There are actaully three ways to do Corpse clean-up. Go into the unit properties and change the setting for
"Combat - Death Type"
to
"Can't raise, Does not decay."

Now the corpses will appear for about two seconds and then dissapear from the game.

"Combat-Defense Type" help

I would like a more detailed description of how all the different defense types affect a unit, and the damage taken by the unit. The types are: Normal, Small, Medium, Large, Fortified, Hero, Divine, Unarmored.

Any help is appreciated! :D

"The weapon of the tower"?

If you mean the projectile, which the tower shoots, find the "Combat - Attack (1 or 2) - Projectile Art" field in the Object Editor.

When I edit this, will it change the splash (if available) or anything else or just how the attack looks? Is there a way to customize those Arts, or preview them doing it, or do I need to test the actual map? Thanks for the help.

As the name suggests, it will only change the projectiles appearance.

You can preview the arts by having the World Editor open on the background and the Object editor up, above it, so you can see the little preview window.

If you want the tower to do splash damage, modify the following fields:

"Combat - Attack (1 or 2) - Area of Effect (Full Damage)"
"Combat - Attack (1 or 2) - Area of Effect (Medium Damage)"
"Combat - Attack (1 or 2) - Area of Effect (Small Damage)"

And if you need to change the targets affected by the splash damage, you can modify the ""Combat - Attack (1 or 2) - Area of Effect Targets", but it is already settled good enough while being default.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
