Conversion

Sup. This is my spell submission. I'm sad to admit: It does use the revive special effect. But only in a mini spell used by the converted Holyness! I really hope all the bugs were worked out :) Test it and see if you find any bugs.

Conversion

Tooltip: The Archbishop converts the targeted unit to his own faith. The newly converted unit will transform into a Gilgamesh to defend the Archbishop's religion. The converted unit will fight for 5 minutes before it returns to the Holy Land.

Hotkey: C

Cooldown: 15|15|15

Mana Cost: 300|345|450

The blue colored special effect is Conversion

Ressurect
This is a mini spell used by the converted.

Tooltip: Gives a chance to ressurect the last killed unit and school it in the ways of the holy. It will fight for you for 15 seconds before it is returned to the land of the dead. It has a 20% chance to work.

The revive special effect is Ressurect

You can ressurect buildings too :)

Omg I just had a brain blast. At first I was afraid I might not be able to come up with an idea. I just found one >=O I'm reserving this space for my submission :D

Also: Pigger, you're spell is a bit screwed up. I looked and it heals enemies then damages them. When I was attacking the bottom left creeps one of them wouldn't die and I just ended up healing him over and over.

I know what you're talking about, it's happened to me before, but I have no clue why. The spell damage/heal is just based off of Fan of Knives with the proper targets set. I have no clue how to fix it :S

Links the caster and target unit together with a bond of immeasureable fortitude from their own life-forces. All units in the path of this link will constantly be healed for a small amount.

Level 1 - Heals 35 health per second, lasts 11 seconds.
Level 2 - Heals 50 health per second, lasts 12 seconds.
Level 3 - Heals 65 health per second, lasts 13 seconds.

Links the caster and target unit together with a bond of immeasurable fortitude from their own life-forces. All units in the path of this link will constantly be healed for a small amount.

Level 1 - Heals 35 health per second, lasts 11 seconds.
Level 2 - Heals 50 health per second, lasts 12 seconds.
Level 3 - Heals 65 health per second, lasts 13 seconds.

Slayer calls mutiple Angles from Heaven, taking Vengence on Evil, or Healing a nearby friendy Unit. The number of times the Angles are called depends on how many Enemy Units are in an AOE of 2500 of the Caster. Max. of 25 Angels.
Channeling for Max. 10 Seconds.
Level 1: Calls 1 Angel for each enemy Unit. Each Angel deals 70 Damage or heals a friendly Unit for 70.
Level 2: Calls 2 Angles for each enemy Unit. Each Angel deals 105 Damage or heals a friendly Unit for 90.
Level 3: Calls 3 Angles for each enemy Unit. Each Angel deals 140 Damage or heals a friendly Unit for 110.

Cooldown: 50/50/50

I didn't like the de-select triggers, though. You could've made stuff Locust, in my opinion.
I don't think the up arrow worked as it should, and having down arrow spawn units confused me, since I use the arrows to move around the camera a lot. :p
Some of your triggers could be improved as well, and you used that horrible special effect (Abilities\Spells\Human\Resurrect\ResurrectCaster.mdl, I think all submissions has that one at some point. :p).
I <3 the 'Objects\Spawnmodels\Other\ToonBoom\ToonBoom.mdl' effect, when the glyphs are removed, by the way. :)

Conclusion: Good work! +rep.

Regarding the de-select trigger, its a touch-up. I tried locust, but seems to give me weird problems, so i abandon that part and used a trigger instead.

In Addition:
Abilities\Spells\Human\Resurrect\ResurrectCaster.mdl
That is one of the only effect that looks holy.... so following the theme, I am not surprise its exploited to the max. :D
But I used that as the model for a unit instead of spamming it as a special effect... two thumbs up for myself :p

This is my first submitted ability for an ability contest. It's quite a simple ability but it's fun and neat to play with. The graphics aren't all that special but it still looks great. The spell itself can have a lot of potential just by adding simple things such as dummyunits casting spells like "Scroll of Protection" at each light and such.

My first choice of screenshot was horrible to show what it actually does, but the second one gives a better show, since I used it away from the enemies.

The lights flash down in a certain way, starting at the sides of the caster and then spiralling around until both lights appear infront and behind of the caster.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
