Need spell ideas!

I need some spell ideas, the spells should be for treants, so the spells should be nature/forest spells.

the spells should preferably not have to be triggered:D

Edit: oh, and the spells should only have 1 level.

a modifed version of a spell with canged values, arts, etc. is still a custom spell.. just throw me some ideas..

Rejuvenation spell with, Art Special ; Art - Missile Art and Art - Effect set as Resurrection<Caster>,Item Resurrection<Caster>,Lesser Rune Ressurrection<Caster> and so on, doesnt look so bad :thup:

No, it's more like a blizzard spell modified slightly.

I suggest getting into triggering spells, it's better.

if you post an idea that needs triggering, it shouldnt be anything really fancy, something simple, but nice

What about an entangling roots trap? It will require triggering.

Something like an invisible root that sinks in the ground, and when an enemy comes out it springs up and entangling roots the enemy.

How about something like impale with entangling roots model instead?

casting->ground shakes, enemys are stunned for ~ 1 sec, the doodad dust appears ( somehow like sand king in dota), the enemies field of vision is reduced to ~100, they get dmg for their time being in this sandstorm


summoning sirens, only works when near water


morph not urself but an allied unit/hero into some giant stone or a treant

when the hero walks behind him back their grows a line of trees for some time

steal the enemy unit wood! ;D

morph ur enemy into a tree (not the unit, the doodad), invincible but ugly ;D

sink the enemy half his height into the ground and make movementspeed 150

"piss at enemy" some yellow liquor hits the enemy and he is freaked out, that he is "irritated" and moves arround randomly for couple of seconds


make the enemys soul weaker, reducing his mana maximum and add it to urs for ~10 secs

give urself ultravision, see 5000 at night!1

attach a spy to the enemy which follows him invis and explodes when either he is attacked or has reeeealy low life or u order it too ( ministun)

infect him with bugs, he gets a small amount of dmg that stacks forever until he respawns or casts some ultraantimagicspell

open wounds for nature, natur dmg ( dmg from trees, elemental spells, and so on) do more dmg

regret hurting nature, u have control over his unit ( not items) for 3 - 5 secs where u can only attack non-nature things 8 with his double dmg)

Sounds a lot like Stasis Trap, no triggering.

You could do Locust Swarm but with birds instead.

Thorns Aura is always appropriate.

I have some ideas that will only really work if there are no triggered spells dealing with buffs, since they depend on abilities that don't work well with triggered spells.

You could have a ward with Spell Steal on autocast with a short cooldown, to provide an area of no harmful spells.

You could have a ward with a simple periodic trigger to make it cast Spell Shield (Glyph) repeatedly, so making all units in the area effectively spell-immune.

Forest spirit (passive)

You gain x% bonus ms/as/damage for every living tree in 600-800 radius

Uproot!!(active)

Create 20-25 trees (random number) in 600 radius in 10 seconds (hero can move during effect). If any unit's position is withing 100 radius of tree's growing position, the tree is destroyed and the unit gets a amount of damage. Therefore all "unused" trees are consumed and the hero gets a amount of heal multiplied by the number of trees left.

EDIT:sorry man didn't see the trigger avoidance.
