Program to create attachment points?

I have a model, but for some reason it has no attachment points. Is there a program that I can open it up with and add a couple attachment points? Thanks.

You sure it dont has? Because I (and others I hear) often do small mistakes during the attachment system.

• 
  try use diffrent models

• check that you have sat the number of attach points to the amount you need

• if it is import model you are going to attach, then the path might be wrong

• check the spellings of the attach strings

This is maybe basic info, just be sure you check it..
