Subtle clicking noise

Now before people suggest hard drive failure, I've researched the noises of hard drive failure and this doesn't match up.

This is a constant problem, but it seems to get worse the longer I leave my computer on. I can hear a very faint clicking noise from the inside that clicks at irregular patterns, but when I put my ear at a certain angle to the computer, I hear a lot of small clicks going constantly at the same rate.

Some of my friends have told me this is normal and I should just ignore it, but it's extremely annoying, and I don't want to open the computer up and void warranty (My mother hates when I do stuff like that)

Help would be most appreciated.

There's nothing you can do but open it up. Try taking it to the makers of the computer and see what they can do.
