Units don't benefit from upgrade

Hi, i'm busy helping with a friend's altered melee map, and I noticed the units don't benefit from the defense upgrade. In worldedit they do use the research under "Upgrades Used", also the Defense Bonus Upgrade isn't 0. Any suggestions what else it could be?

"Upgrades used" have to be above 0?

just double check that you'v added the right one, maybe it's the type that is incapable or sumthing.

do u possibly have other upgrades on it and now there'z too many or sumthn like that.. could i see the map? then i might be able to see what the problem is..

nvm i found the problem. The upgrade was set to "Apply tomall units - True". For some reason disabling that enabled the upgrade to function.. Wierd
