Okay, what am I lacking that makes my CS: source lag?

I have 4 GB RAM, 9800 GT card and I made mine in full settings at 1440x900.

What's wrong??!?!?!?

32 players...

10 FPS if there are 32 players.

That's why. 1.8GHz is quite slow. My dual core is at 3000MHz.

My AMD Athlon 64x2 5200+, 2GB RAM, Asus 8600GT Magic can bump up to 40fps with 40 players(39 bot, 1 for myself ) at Max Setting under 1280x960 resolution.

My 4 GIG ram can carry loads of resources, but my processor can only send the resources at a pace?

Do you mean:

3 RAMs, 1 DDR233 Mhz, 1 DDR333 Mhz, 1 DDR400 Mhz, all the same size (Doesn't matter).

The max speed is 233 Mhz?

I have to ask...

Are you talking about Lag, as in network lag? Or are you referring to Low FPS as "Lag", which it's not...? If it's lag, then sometimes wrong with any routers or network cards you may have or maybe event settings, if Low FPS is what you're talking about, you're lacking the needed hardware or another program is taking up too many resources if you have what it requires.
