Starcraft 2 MVP Program Launched

I was contacted by one of the current Blizzard MVPs Sixen about adding his story here. I believe Sixen is the first MVP from when Blizzard brought back the MVP program. He said he would post his story after a while but when he approached me he seemed to want some kind of interview. If anybody wants to put together a list of questions to ask the current Blizzard MVP feel free. Otherwise, I will just try to get the current MVPs to post there stories here as well.

I have noticed there are 2 types of MVPs currently and I don't see a clear distinction in the forums powers of either. One type of MVP is World of Warcraft - started in 2005 definitely the spirit of the MVP program but unleashed on WoW. The other is Battle.net forums MVPs, Tech Support and others it seems.

I am working on fixing the links from the main index. When I fix them I put a Link Fixed note by them. I am also adding and reorganizing stuff.

Blizzard picked him from the Blizzard forums. One of the Blizzard reps who were on the forum noticed him. He apparently convinced them to restart the program.

We met shortly after he was the first MVP. Blizzard contacted me about being MVP again when they were starting the program up again because of Sixen and his comrades but I declined as I was too busy to be in the Blizzard forums and on these forums.

I know he has contact with Dinobot.

Sorry for the late reply guys, been a bit busy with IRL (graduating from college in a few months!) but I definitely want to contribute to this "MVP/Forum archive," if you will, it's been something I've been working on for years, :). This in mind, I want to do it right and not miss out on anything, as I personally feel like the history here is awesome. Soon(TM) for sure. I'll also make sure to touch on each of the interview questions tom posted above, <3.

    How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be

    Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that

    Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings

    These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
