Basically what i would like is for somebody to tell me how to change and edit the W3 task bar, (I have attached a photo of what i am looking for).

Is it even possible?
How is it done?


Extension:
is it still possible for a unit to about to 'Hold Position' 'Stop' ect. without having those icons there?

I believe that can be done by removing the 'ability' via its raw code, which I don't know.
I remember that someone from WC3campaign made a method for this.
(use their backup link, which I don't know)

Because the unit has lost the ability and the icon, it can't.

well i think it's strongly recomanded to not remove stop ability and move

if you remove stop the unit will go untill it's killed and it will not stop and if you remove move ability your unit will not move

stand ground and patrol can be removed without any recursions and will not interfear with the unit's normal behaviour

On the other hand you can give your unit the "ward" classification,this will remove all abilities (stop,hold pos,attack,activate-able),but the unit will still move,stop,attack etc..If you don't mind losing the whole interface :p

is there anyway that i can purhaps remove the hold position & Patrol abilities.

Short answer: no, it's not possible.

Hold Position, Stop and Patrol are not actual abilities and therefore cannot be removed, they don't even have rawcodes.
Move has the rawcode Amov, it can be removed, this also removes Patrol and makes the unit unable to move, completely.
Attack has the rawcode Aatk, removing it also removes Hold Position and make the unit unable to attack.
Removing both of these will also remove Stop.

Ok thanks for that, well that kinda sucks because the two things that i really want them to have would be is Attack & Move, the rest i wouldnt mind getting rid off. If what you say is true then, i guess i'm kinda screwed.

How can i go about removing the set rally point of a move-able building, because i want this build to be able to move via 'right click' however if moving means that i have to press 'm' its going to be awkward, can anyone help me so that my move-able building is able to move via right click (basically removing 'Set Rally Point')

I think you can remove the 'Set Rally Point' ability too by removing the ability via its rawcode (and again, I don't know its rawcode :D)
Wait for someone else who knows to post.

If this is true, I'd play with it. :)
Maybe you can add the abilities via rawcode, and maybe hold/patrol wouldn't show up...
