Adding Passive Effects without Icons

I was wondering if there was a way to add passive abilities to units, but have no icons for it when the ability is added. I've made a blink ability that adds the spell evasion on you for 4 seconds, but the added evasion icon is a little bit annoying. Is there a way to remove the icon but keep the effect?

Yes, put the evasion you want in a spell book, give the unit the spell book then disable it afterwards.

What do you mean by disable it? Just remove it?

You can also use item abilities, they don't have an icon and most of them exist x)
