Armor Type names (cloth, leather and.)

it is always easyer for people to play a map if they got an ide about what is normal exm.
footman is normaly a guard but if you make it into a thef, people will think your map is less funny, cos the commen seens are no good, so you will have to look at everything to find out what is excaly dose or are.

I grew up playing GemStone 3, and the armor types were Cloth, Leather, Studded Leather, Chain, Plate.

If you want something higher than Plate, it will be imaginary, so mine as well go with one of the suggested names (Mithril, Titanium, Adamantium), or make up your own.

dragonhide/wyrmhide (fantasy)
demonhide (fantasy)

gold (not very good for armor =P )
silver (not very good for armor =P )
platinum (not very good for armor =P )
chromoly (this is an alloy of steel that is harder)
mythril (fantasy)
adamantium (not sure if this one is real. possibly a government used alloy)
thorium (fantasy used in wc3)
arcanite (fantasy used in wc3)
