Armor Type names (cloth, leather and.)

in working on a rpg

and i will have cloth,leather,mail,plate and?

i have though of platinum, reinforced plate.

but i cant come up with other armor types, so i was hoping that you guys could help me out ;)

i will have 9 class's :

pure tank, dps, heal

and 6 hybrid

what i need this armor type for?

i need it for the tank cos some of the hybrid str will have plate armor you i need something uniqe so people want to take the tank if they "really" need a guy that can tank.

  • Divine (Even though it is an original WC3 type, it's still pwn)

Love it, think i will open my rpg a little more so i will have every armor type that you guys just said, in the game :p

narh im more thinking of what is stronger then plate like in irl

There was a metal that could resist something like 275k.
But who wants an armor called "Iconel 625" :p .

I'd just go with titanium;
It's most known as the strongest.

Well, while we are using imaginary materials *cough*adamantium*cough*
may I suggest Mithril?

He did say "stronger then plate like [del]in[/del] irl".

EDIT: I'm pretty sure Mithril is an ore, but can be made into things.
I still say go with Titanium as a lot more people will relate to it then other types.

If we are talking fantasy materials there is always orichalcum (which technically is brass, but has been translated into video games and fantasy as magic metal).

ohh nice could propply use that in my rpg, havnt though of how the player is going to get the materials atm.

but there are 3 ways to give mats

1. by killing (trigger)
2. by picking up item
3. by mining the mats

but i really dont know which one im going for. all 3 have there strong and weak sides :/
