Button positions

So I'm organizing my spell books, and i realized no matter what X or Y value I put, in, unless it is full, the positions are screwed up, some of the spells dont even show up for some reason, is there a solution to this problem?

Yeah, I know that, but the spells tend to move around even if i have them right.

Spell books order the spells in whatever order they are loaded... which is somewhat of a pain to even try to get right.

So i have to pick spells that won;t conflict with others?
