First-Person View

Does anyone know how to get a Really good first-person view?
I have been trying but it always ends up on the back of the unit's head
and it looks all wierd, is there any way to fade the unit for just the owner?

Fade Filters? In the ones I made, I made some custom models and did some several hour long trial and error sessions until I got the camera right where I wanted it. Kind of like normal FPS's.

Yeah, with some custom script lines. Say your unit is stored in the GUI global "caster":

if GetLocalPlayer() == GetOwningPlayer(udg_caster) then
    call SetUnitVertexColor(udg_caster, 255, 255, 255, 0.)
endif

Edit: This fades the unit (i.e. 100% transparent) for just its owner. It'll still have a shadow, though.
