Importing Strings

How do you import strings from one map to another.

I did it once, but now everytime I go 'import strings' and select the files, it says 'error, cannot import becausing missing strings 'list of numbers'' ><

So, does anyone know how to make it work? I just can't seem to find the reason why it doesn't.
