Modells without deathanimation

I posted this some time ago, but no one responded...

Can someone make me a modell of the grunt and the knight from original w3...just without the deathanimations...?

what are you talking about without the death animations????

If you want you can do that. All you have to do is import the model to gmax and then when you export it, leave out those animations. ITs preety simple.

When you run maxscript to export it will have the model name and a box of animations. Just add the ones you want and if they are allready there, just remove them.

I have no idea how to use this 3d modell programms...
and if its really so simple you can do it for me, or?
I would be very pleased...

Conditions:
YOUR CONDITIONS

Actions:
Remove Dying Unit From The Game

You you can set the unit's animation speed to 0% and pause the unit


It freezes the unit like a time freeze spell and it wont show the death animation

i like the trigger approach but there is only one problem. The animation will start if it is when the unit dies.

Make it like:

generic unit event - life =1
conditions
if one is true
-unit is a (grunt)
-unit is (wahtever)
remove unit from game

The problem is:
I cant use triggers...

The animation is not used by units, but as a spell animation...
And as far as I know...you cant remove animation tags from spells...or?

Ill give you an example of whta I want to do, perhaps you understand me better than...

A hero casts a shockwave, and his spell uses as spellanimation the kinghtmodell...if the shockwave ends...the knight seems to die, got it?

But I want the knightanimation not to die...so I need a Knightmodell without the deathanimation or with an deathanimation that looks like the stand animation...
Got me?

yes, i got you but why dont you want it to die and why cant you use triggers im going crazy like my avatar here

Do you mean you want a unit immune to a spell?

Code:
Event-A unit casts a spell
Condition-Spell being cast is Shockwave
Action-Make <Unit variable> invulnerable
Wait 1.5 secs
Make <Unit variable> vulnerable

You'll have to set the variable as the unit that you want not to die.
If this doesn't work, I'm very sorry...

Oh wait, now I get it! The death animation is used for shockwave!

dont work. u dont have to reach 1 hp to die... u can be 100 hp and someone dumps a level 3 death coil on you and u die.
