i just have a simple question about this spell, i just wanna make sure.
the Salvage cost ratio is .5, so i'd assume it gives amount of gold that is equal to 50% of the damage, right? so let say, if i make this into hero spell, if the hero deals 100 damage, when the hero attacks building, he will gain 50 gold, right?
also, what is that Accumulation Step? the default value is 1.

The default has step = 1 and ratio = 0.5.
Which means that every 2 hits you get 1 gold.

With step = 5 and ratio = 0.33 you get 5 gold every 3 hits. (Roughly, 0.33 * 3 isn't exactly 1...)

Ratios higher than 1.0 are to be avoided :p

Note: this is for beating up units. Never tested that with buildings... I guess though it's the same...

Cost of unit? Don't think that's involved here... or is it?

That should be your answer.

Kind of like Murphy's Law. Things can always go wrong.

that doesnt look right, i just tested it, the grunt deals 100 damage, i changed the step=50, and ratio=1, but thats not like 50 gold every hit. instead, i get 50 gold every 12-13 hits. i am so confused. and it seems higher damage the unit deals, more gold it gains. because the raider deals 200 damage, and it receive 100 gold per 12-13 hits, which is double.
i am trying to make this as a hero spell, and each level increase gold per hit. but so far i am having trouble to understand how this spell actually works.
