question about buffs

ok so you know cluster missle right? it uses the cluster missle buff and cluster missle effect.

now when i changed the cluster missle buff, the spell DOES no damage at all!
i based the buff exactly off the cluster missle, all i did was change the art icon.

so i was like ok, whatever i will just leave bufffs and effect to normal, but now i want to make 2 different spells all based off cluster missle, and i am worried the game might crush if the same buff is used by 2 different spells.
so can any confirm it would be safe to use the same buff on 2 different spells?

As far as I know it will not crash the game.

I have heard that it can cause crashes, but I do it all the time... No crashes here.
