> I think the blue is meant to be an underwater effect.
I realised.
And, it still looks far too blue.

Agree, the flower at the front does look strange. It looks very nice but you spammed too much grass and the flowers seemed too cramped together.
Nice camera angle.
Try.I never said I didn't want criticism.
How is it plain? Maybe I didn't capture the right scene and atmosphere because the camera was buggy and I couldn't take a WE screenshots because I'm not using fog but cinematic filters for the effect and the units are generated randomly in game.
Undergrowth?I don't think it is spammed with doodads. I think that it is just the right amount to make it seem like lush undergrowth.
It is only the proportion of everything in that terrain that bothers me, otherwise it looks very nice.
@ Blockrose:
Very nice. As mentioned before, the proportions are a bit off. The plants at the back look huge.
Magic Carpet
Desert's with trees? Unless it's a palm tree.Looks good but there's too many cactus, too little rocks and no barren trees?
Terrain variation? That's the only tile I could find that suits fit. Edges, I'll fix that up.... define sanddune? I'll google it now anyway. The shadows are hard to do.Not a lot of terrain variation, you can see the edge of the map. I see you're trying to go for a desert barren feeling, but the cactus are too close to each other. It's also too hilly, try instead of making it hilly, make it seem like there are dunes. Also, the shadow underneath the "carpet" has light in it.
EDIT: http://images.google.com.au/imgres?...?q=define:+sand+dune&hl=en&safe=off&sa=N&um=1
That is a sand dune? If so, how do you suggest on making that?
