@Dakho: The first could use more tile variation and doodads, and it could probably use some better atmosphere.
The second, could have more coordinated light stuff and maybe some more atmosphere.
The third, could use more trees and doodads, and the crystals look a little weird and too exuberant.
@Lobster: Try to take a bigger image. From what I can see, you should try to add more doodads to cover up the emptiness, tile variation, fog, and maybe some weather.
Pretty cool but the moonlight kind of weird, it's just all focused on one spot, and the random pine trees in the water are somewhat strange. However overall it looks quite good.
My first kind of terrain pic. I added the orcs and malfurion because it looked kind of boring with just big trees and wisps... Well, made it in 30 mins so i think it's pretty good for a first timer =)
I think you should be more trees to hide the lack of ground environmental doodads. That should help a lot. Also the foreground good use a good smoothening.
