Is there any way to make units unselectable but still have a collsion size?

Would creating a trigger that detects if a unit from the group is selected and deselects the whole unit group work?

I can't seem to find a unit-group comparison. Is it hidden somewhere else?

Actions - Unit Selected
Conditions - Unit Belongs to Unit Group
Events - Deselect unit.

(Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Footman

Selection - Remove (Triggering unit) from selection for Player 1 (Red)
