Was America truely what tipped the scales in both the World Wars?

I hear alot that if it wasn't for American aid the Allied Forces in both the World Wars would had lost.I purpose to you now that they were never truely needed.
Why? Well in the first World War the Allied Forces were already winning, but people say that if America didn't join in the fight the Germans could have won. They say this because America brought more then just man power to the fight. However you most not forget germany was also begining to run low on resources from food to soldiers. Also in the Second World War people say if America didn't aid the Allied Forces on D-Day then Germany would not have fallen. That may have been true if it was the soldiers from the Western front that reached Berlin first, but it was Russia that first reached Berlin and could have taken it on their own. With Hitler in Berlin when the Russian's got there is it not possible that without the soldiers from the Western front Russia could have claimed Berlin and defeated Hitler?

That was Japan, I was talking about Europe as for both the World Wars that's where most of the battles were faught.

And before America declared war, they we're already supplying munitions to european allies plus china even though they give no shit about the European war.

There won't even be D-Day in the first place if America wasn't involved



Also what tipped the scales of war, World War 2...was hitler's plan of invading russia, which was an utter failure...This was his biggest mistake, his aids disagreed with his idea and eventually became a domino effect of other failures..

It took a lot of things to happen for Hitler to not win.

But in terms of human losses it was Stalin's USSR that took the most casualties. Basically it was them that the Nazis hit the hardest.

In my uneducated and unprofessional opinion, I believe America did make a difference, but even without America they could have defeated Germany.

Truthfully, it cannot be said whether or not America was a the* major thing that allowed the Allies to win WW1/2, but it can be said that America was a* major thing that tipped the scale. There are many reasons as to why the Allies won both World Wars. Winterherz is on the right track. It was a domino effect.
