This allows you to download videos from youtube which are normally not down loadable. They will be in Flash (.flv) format.

Start using it now!

For those who can't read what it displays on the page because they are blind, obnoxious, or didn't look.

To use, navigate to the Youtube Video Page of your choice.

Next copy and paste the URL into the text box below.

After download is completed, rename the file to your video and at .flv at the end

You will need Flash Player to view the file, then you can convert for iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc.

Vixy is slower because it puts the file on their server before allowing you to download.

i have a program that directly converts you tube movies to avi or mpeg or wmv but i lost it

so how to play flv files?

I don't really get the point in this, couldn't you just download a program that does it without having to upload to youtube?

I think you misunderstood, this script is used so you can download video files off of you tube which are normally not down loadable.

Or you can get this firefox addon Video Downloader and it will download video after you watch it. just click the floppy disk icon beside help

I hope you know YouTube Videos are FLASH not video format so that addon will not work. Sorry but fail.

Regardless whether or not this has done before, it is a good tool.

I mean, it is just here to be helpful, not for competition towards other converters that do the same thing.

Anyways, great tool Oninuva, I was looking for something like this; though I wasn't planning on using it. :p

I agree that it's an impressive tool.

But I personally prefer using FireFox's Download Helper and then convert flash to .avi. But maybe I just prefer it that way because I spend a good 2 hours looking that up and I don't want it to go to waste.

Thanks :) Anyways, for those using sites that convert for them, they are way slower, and download speeds are slower too. :nuts: Kind of wasting time here aren't we?

I use a program to convert them. Don't know about any of you but the cold weather makes my internet crap. Takes like 10 secs to load every page.

I don't think so. The people who made the one I use weren't very creative. They just named it "Free FLV to AVI Converter." But that was only because the tutorial I found on downloading YouTube videos linked it to it. But knowning me, I'll soon delete it to free up space on my computer and start depending on your tool. Hand-me-downs, they really do bring you down.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
