Block Damage with Spiked Carapace?

I saw Spiked Carapace, its have Received Damage Factor: 1.0

I tried to set it to 0.0 but it isnt work, but i think it can switch to block dmg, can you guys help me plz?

0.0 would mean 0 damage taken from everything I think

try going with "hardened skin"?

I want creat an ability that will block 50% physical damage. Hardened Skin cant block damage by percent.

it works fine for me if you set it to .5 instead of 0
