Game Cache Help! I need it!

I have tried everything i could think of to get game chaches to save hero data, there experience, level, items, etc. I cannot get it to work, and i dont know how to load it to a diffrent map. Could somone please give me some pointers?

Oh yes, and I also have used the original map editor for wc3roc. I have spent months with it, but i need one more thing. I have tried to make a tower defense game, but i cant get units to spawn and start moving properly. I dont understand how to work that either.
