Trigger:
  • hp+
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Dies
    • Conditions
      • ((Killing unit) is a Hero) == True
    • Actions
      • Hero - Create Tome of Life and give it to (Killing unit)

this would increase a heros HP by 50 every time he kills a unit

just adjust the trigger to work with a dummy ability and use a customized tome ability to modify the HP increase

First copy/paste 4 copys of that ability and adjust their hp increase (1.5/2/2.5/3). Then copy/paste any tome powerup item 4 times and change their abilities to the ones you just created.

So all you have to do is create 4 abilities, 4 items, and the trigger

1. make 4 copies of the maual of heal and set the value to 1.5, 2, 2.5 & 3
2. make the trigger jnZ has made with 4 if/then/else checking the level of the ability and then adding the right manual of health
3. be glad :D

I knew that, but i can only edit them to 1/2/3/4/5/6... instead of 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3, thats my problem :-s

well i am not familiar with that ability but if thats a restriction then you have to live with it.

you could change the ability to award HP for every second kill and make it 3/4/5/6

The Object Editor only allows integer values for Manual of Health's life bonus. But you can't see decimals in the HP bar anyway, so why would you need to? You can store the decimal remainder and add to it, then increase HP based off the integer value of the result, but I doubt that would make much of a difference.

Ok, problem resolved, thanks you guys :)

(1/2/3/4 hp/kill is better than 1.5/2/2.5/3 hp/kill in a mini-AoS map)
