Timer expires / destroy

Hey,
When i use the action "Destroy Timer"
Does this makes another trigger to be affected when he has the Event - Timer expires ?

Destroy Timer = Timer Expires ?

I think that the 'Destroy Timer' function completely destroy the timer. I.E: call DestroyTimer( T ), then the next trigger checks for 'T timer expires', it will not work as this 'T' timer does not exist.

So I dun think this will run another Trigger.

One more question, is it possible to change the time of the timer, example:
Create a timer that expires in 90 sec.

Is it possible to change/reduce the duration while the timer is running ?

I think it is possible.

• Countdown Timer - Start udg_timer as a One-shot timer that will expire in 30.00 seconds

The new action will override the timer's duration.

you could do like this:

• Countdown Timer - Start Timer as a One-shot timer that will expire in ((Time remaining for Timer)-X) seconds

that way you can take time off a timer, and you just reference the variable, udg_timer is for custom script bloody
and
if you destroy a timer it cant trigger any more events until it is reset and another time is set to it, so the trigger will still work, but the event wont fire if nothing ever happens basically
