Dota Violence(New Project) Members Needed.

Hello,

I have been working on this project for awhile now. I am the Developer of Dota Violence. We have a team of around 10 people. I know you all must be thinking another Dota but to be honest with you we are trying to improve the game play from just another AOS map or better known as Dota Clones. We are changing the totally gameplay bit by bit as well as new heroes and new items, Dota Violence is aiming for quility ideas not quantity. We have about 17 heroes in total, 9 on Sentinel and 8 on Scourge(each with a totally new concept and theme). We are still under beta testing to try to fully balance the heroes. We have a totally new game mode call "Domination" and we are working on few new ones too.

I am posting this topic here because we need to recurit new people into our "Hero Idea Team". We have developed a new way to developing hero ideas rather than random posting and brainstorming. no matter how good or different your map is the name dota will lead to dota comparisons and that kind of stuff, no matter how good or different your map is.

it happened to me... but then again my first map sucked ass...

First of all, don't call it DotA unless you're using DotA's map and mostly the same heroes.

Like the people above, anything with DotA ____ in its name will be compared to it; the haters won't play it, the addicts will think it's a ripoff, and the people that don't care - won't care.

Aint that the truth... I make my maps solo, or I help others out , anyhow, rename it... Not to be discouraging, but your REALLY gonna have to come up with something different, or it will just be called "Another Dota Ripoff", which is really horrible, ignorant people cant handle new things....

Well, ENFOS RO version (RO = Ripped Off) was a horrible disaster that is unbalanced. Then again, people like that and play it...

Yeah, but then again Enfo doesnt have a Cal league a - z, or is that just me? Enfo doesnt have 1000 clans devoted to its cause, Enfos doesnt have its name posted in songs (LOL)... There is a pretty distinct difference... Your going to have to do QUITE A BIT, to get rid of Cal league, 1000 calns, and the damn song... or atleast make a name for yourself. Wrong wording but the best I could come up with....

Yes the name will be changed but first we need to have a basic platform from where we can atleast start the map. I also agree with you guys that some people will call this another Dota Clone , that is why I posted this topic there so that some of you guys can share your ideas with us.

I do my maps solo. Not because i don't need other people but because of the sense of accomplishment from doing it yourself... why have a team when war3 will be replaced in 1 or 2 years? and it will... if not by another blizzard game then another game of any kind

I totally agree with johnny... Makin' small maps like this alone is the best way to be a 'known' mapper.

Well honestly I think it's not true. WC3 is too awesome it won't just disappear. IMO not even Blizzard can make another game like this.

Custom heroes would be fun (doesn't have to be mightily custom, can be like just 1 ability that we can choose whatever we want it to be would be cool)

Well I'm working on this with him now, and so far all abilities are heroes are custom (I think all of the abilities are triggered)

How can you rip off 5 different games at once?
It's just another AoS..
You can't make any rip off assumptions considering you only know that it's an AoS type game!!!
We are developing all ideas from scratch and balancing it to all get out.
In fact we are even going on websites to make sure our ideas weren't already done...
