Unit Portraits Became Darker?

I went to a place for vacation in three days. I left my map under construction good. When I came back and start world editing again, the portraits of all units became darker! It's like... they have dirt on their faces! I don't know but all I did today was...
- imported some several models
- created a trigger for visibility
- changed some things in Gameplay Interface
- Edited Some Texts on Items.

Which do you think from these caused that? Or... the cause maybe not on those above...

I need help guys! I don't want the beautiful faces of my units become dirty!
I want them to be clean once more...

Did you wash/wipe your monitor?

Those are normal units... They are not imported (obviously)

And actually, ALL units are DARK

touched the display settings on wc3 lately?
or have you tried other custom maps / pc games? maybe its the video..

No... I listed up there what I did... Well... I don't know if it is like that on melee game... I'll look on melee games and wait for another post (to avoid double post( reason why i have negative reputation))

Oh there happens to be an EDIT button .
It seems like a graphics error, try load a different map and see if this occurs.

Well... I restarted the game for many times.... I checked out one of my "soon to be finished" map and the normal units have dark portraits too.

I checked the melee games... Well... they are fine! The problem seems to be on custom maps... but im not yet sure...

BTW, I played the map (unprotected version of the map which is the source of the screenshots) with my brother in a laptop and this computer. The laptop keeps on hanging. It can't play Warcraft III anymore so I edited the map again. I tested the map then it was the time I saw the dark portraits

Indeed all custom maps have units with dark portraits but melee games and campaign has normal portraits. The video options and even the gameplay in warcraft 3 options weren't changed. Anymore ideas?

There is something definitely wrong with your graphics card. Maybe something was biting a chewing it?

What about the melee games? They are normal. There is no problem with the Footman and the Priest.

Well, I played WarRock Philippines after I saw that problem... Things are good in its graphics. No problems.

Sorry for bumping within 13 hours. I really can't sleep when I think about that...

Well... I don't know if it is a virus... But I didn't download a map yesterday (here in Philippines)... Just models and icons.

Shadows off - nothing happend except the removal of shadows

I tried doing a melee game once more. I bought a footman when I constructed a Barracks. The portrait is normal... But after maybe 5 minutes in checking other units' portraits, things have changed! They became darker just like in the screenshot above!!!!

What is wrong with this? T_T

Not quite sure what could be wrong, it might be that your files have corrupted or became fragmented. Try defragging your hard drive, and if you're really disturbed by this problem, you could try uninstalling and re-installing it.

I can't reinstall it. I just copied the warcraft 3 folder from my friend ^_^

Well... I'll defrag the pc and check it again.

Bad thing found!

My map has High Elven Farm model of houses. The right side of the house became black and it changes to normal sometimes every time I move the screen (what I'm saying is not the portrait but the portrait is black also)

Defragmentation didn't work. I think this is some kind of color lacking or corrupted files?
I really don't know...

Game time can affect the brightness of models.
If they look like that at 12:00, that's odd. If they look like that at 00:00, they look badass.

No... Their portraits are still dark even morning or evening. I tested this in four different maps in four hours...
